USING CRAFT STICKS TO MAKE A JEWELRY BOX
STEP 1 | Cover your work surface to
protect it from glue spills.
STEP 2 | Sort through the craft sticks, and
discard any that are bent, warped or
splintered. This project requires about
70 craft sticks, depending on the height
of the box.
STEP 3 | Line up 10 sticks side by side
to form a square about 4½ inches by
4½ inches. Apply craft glue all along
the side of another craft stick and place
it perpendicular to the lined-up sticks,
about ¼-inch from the end of the sticks,
with the glue side down. Do the same
with a second stick, placing it about
¼-inch from the stick ends on the oppo-
site side. This forms the base of the box.
