Lissa and TROUBLE wonflrstplace in the Alabama Horse Show Association for the 1968 season in their class. TROUBLE was fourteen years of age. PRESTWOOD STABLES Dude Prestwood, manager and trainer of this Jack- son, Mississippi operation, is optimistic about the 1969 season and one look at his stock explains why. Dude is working twenty horses for the 1969 show circuit Horsemen in Mississippi claim that Dude has one of the best mares in the country. She is a black four- year-old that has everything you look for in a show horse. She was purchased by BUI Allen of Jackson after the Celebration from Junior Pierce in Atlanta BM also owns CARBON COPY STAR, the mare ^ Dickie Pate showed last year Dude has a three-year-old stallion that several neo- pie want to buy, but he isn’t for sale. Dude says he is the best, most natural horse he has ever ridden This horse is owned by Bill Allen also. Bill is a relative newcomer to the Walking Horse scene, but he believes in getting top stock. The horses mentioned above prove it! Dude also has two MACK K colts, one owned by Paul Dobbs and the other by Floyd Blundell. These colts are coming along nicely and should do well in their division. PERFECTION COMMANDO, an eight-year-old stal lion, was recently sold by Dude to Jack Warren. The horse was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Williamson of Centreville, Mississippi. In the three-year-old classes, look for SUN’S EAGLE. This horse is black with good size and can really operate. He is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Davis. TOP BROOD MARES WANTED Due to the time and trouble it takes, many good mares are not bred to the best STALLIONS. Many people wonder why their colts aren't bringing top prices. Maybe it's the mares, but usually it’s because the colts aren’t by the top STALLIONS. We plan to mate those mares to the best STAL LIONS in Middle Tennessee. We hope to produce something that we all can be proud of and with no trouble to you. Just get the mare to us and we will do the rest or call us collect and we will come get her. it Every mare will be fed a grain ration daily. ☆ Mares will be checked daily. k Two top Vets near barn. k Mares will be bred to stallion of your choice. k No mare will be left at breeding stable. k 1 free haul bill to Stud each month within 45 miles of Murfreesboro.
