Wink and his horse were just too much for the other entries as this 1967 Three- \ ear-Old Champion proved that he had improved over the performance that many thought was unbeatable last year . Reserve went to THE SENATOR and Marvin Wilson showing out of Vic Thompson Stables . This top horse showed his ability and will no doubt be heard from even more in the future . Albert Rowland and SUN ’ S SECRET AGENT tied third .

The judges were again far apart with Larry getting one first place vote , one second place vote . Reserve went to SUN ' S TORONADO and Polly Singletary . Susan Hunter and ZIP CODE were third . Polly and her horse received one first place vote . These fine young riders did an excellent job showing their horses , proving what time in the saddle can do for both horse and rider .
