SUN CREST STABLES
In June of 1965 , years of planning , wishing , and enthusiastic aspiration were culminated by the completion of Sun Crest Stable . This fine facility is located on Highway 79 , about one mile north of Clarksville , Tennessee . Owners Charles Massey and Bobby Long can be justly proud of this establishment , for the modern structure is designed to produce top Walking stock . The main barn is 300 feet long with forty-four stalls . A push-button automatic walker and an allweather wash rack enable Sun Crest grooms to more competently complete their jobs .
A plush lounge is walled in beautiful oak paneling and the floor is of sparkling white ceramic tile chip . A Walking Horse silhouette design of black tile chip is inlaid in the center of the floor . Ribbons , trophies , and pictures grace the wall while couches and chairs are provided for relaxation . The king of the tanbark around Sun Crest is MID NIGHT MOSHUN . This regal ebony stallion is by MIDNIGHT SUN and out of LOTT A MERRY MOTION by MERRY GO BOY . He will stand at stud for one hundred dollars to registered mares .
