Pam Hawkersmilh, owner and rider ON THE MASON-DIXON LINE The Ohio Valley Walking Horse Association, which was formed in January of this year, held its first show on June 14 and 15 at the Burlington Fairgrounds. This show was called the Ohio Valley Walking Horse Festival. From the number of horses and exhibitors that arrived, the show was well worth while and was termed a success. Host and manager of the show was Robert Taylor, ably assisted by Ralph Lovett, Forest Margrave and Fray Escue. Mrs. Dorothy Lovett did a fine job as secretary and Toby Green tied all Walking Horse classes most competently. Tom Hanawalt judged the 4-H Club and lead line classes, while X. B.
