He has been shown 22 times to win 17 blue rib­ bons in his career, and is owned by Preston Richardson of St. Louis. Not prone to let an enthusiastic audi­ ence escape, Don added to our con­ versation that he "has a full biothei to him that should also make a great horse.” If anyone is looking for "one of them things” . . . chances are this could be the place to get him. Both of these horses are sired by GO BOY’S COMMANDER, a fine stallion that Don stands for the Walk­ ing Horse Association of Jefferson City. Thus far they have done quite well breeding him. The whole Bolinger family enjoys the horse business and, when possi­ ble, the six children help around the barn. Connie, 18 years old, is in col­ lege and can’t do much, but sixteen- year-old Wanda, thirteen-year-old Vicki, eleven-year-old Kent and the youngest, Gregg, who is ten years old, all help as ground men and grooms. In addition to the stock we have already mentioned, Don is working the very well-known GUNSMOKE’S FIRST LADY for Jane Richardson. This fine mare has won over 67 blues in three years and recently won the American Royal with Jane in the saddle.
