Always a fine show, the 196S Oklahoma City Charitv Horse Show appears to be attracting an even larger Walk, ing Horse participation than ever before. To be held in the beautiful new Fairgrounds All-Sports Arena, the show is scheduled for a five-day run from May 21 through Mav 05 This is one of the many line shows of the Southwest Circuit and high points will be tabulated in Walking Horse Classes. There are eleven Walking Horse classes in the five-day schedule, with a good balance of open and Amateur- Juvenile Classes. All exhibitors and trainers should be able to show their best stock in this well-rounded schedule. There are no two-year-old-classes, however. Mr. Wink Groover of Etowah, Tennessee will be the judge and he comes well qualified for the job. Mr. Groover is con­ sidered one of the top judges in the Walking Horse business The horse show manager is the well-known Emmet Guy of Jackson, Tennessee. Mr. Guy always does a top job of put­ ting on a horse show and the Oklahoma Show promises to be one of his best efforts. He is providing good classes and top prize money with trophies and ribbons equal to any in the horse show world. Keeping the show moving will be announcer O’Neil Howell of Memphis, Tennessee. For those interested in the social aspects of the horse show business the famous GOLDEN HORSESHOW lounge will be open to members throughout the week of the show.
