WALKING PONY CHAMPION
SHIP STAKE, 58" AND UNDER
MIKE’S MIGHTY MAN and Pam Reed swept
the top spot on all three judges' cards in win
ning the Pony title. This talented entry left
nothing for doubt as they made an impressive
show from start to finish. SETTING SUN’S
APOLLO and Lynn Doughty were in the bat
tle all the way but they could not quite match
the winner. Lynn and APOLLO should con
tinue to be one of the top pony entries in the
country. Third place award went to last year’s
champion, LITTLE BIT O'TROUBLE and Ray
Beech. Ray and his horse looked very good
and kept the pressure on the top two horses.

ON WALKING HORSES,
CHAMPIONSHIP STAKE
GO BOY’S ROYAL HEIR and Candace Wil
liams continued their winning streak as they
charged past their competition to win the am
ateur championship. Candace and ROY ALHEIR
are a formidable team, to say the least, and
they seem to get better with every trip into
the ring Mrs. Frank Parnell and LADY GO-
DIVA never gave up while staying on t he
rad and doing a fine job in three gaits. The
reserve award was well-deserved by this great
entrv. Third place and the yellow ribbon was
won' bv Lloyd Wood and CLOWN’S SPUR.
This is'a new entry in the showring this year
and they will surely be back better than ever.
