WALKING PONIES , 58 " AND UNDER , RIDERS 15-1 7 YEARS INCLUSIVE
Pam Reed and MIKE ’ S MIGHTY MAN were the blue ribbon choices on all three judges ’ cards with a spectacular win over some top competition . This little pony has worlds of walking ability and Pam does a great job exhibiting him . LITTLE BIT O ’ TROUBLE and Ray Beech tied second to MIGHTY MAN . This combination won the pony title the last two years and this horse is certainly one of the finest ponies showing in the country . Third award went to SHADOW ’ S JET and Nancy Escue . Nancy had her horse walking throughout the class and kept the pressure on the leaders from start to finish . JET can get the job done consistently and Nancy is one of the best young exhibitors now showing .

Maxine Johnson and MAGIC KNIGHT put on one of their patented shows and captured the blue ribbon in a class of top entries . Maxine gets along extremely well with this great horse and it takes a perfect effort to beat them . Second tie and the red ribbon went to YAN­ KEE DOODLE and Janie Julian . Janie received the first-place vote of one of the judges for her fine showing in all three gaits . Yellow ribbon award winner was PRINCE ROYAL with Lewis Aita up . This fine gelding tied high on all three judges ’ cards with a consistent performance by both rider and horse .

WALKING STALLIONS , FIVE YEARS OLD AND OVER
Doug Wolaver and GO BOY ’ S SUNDUST put on a spectacular show to win this class over the best competition in the country . SUNDUST made some thrilling passes in the running walk to capture the first place vote on two of the judges ’ cards . Elmore Brock and MR . GLO won the second place tie with a great show . This beautiful bay stud was set up right and never missed a lick . He was shown to best advantage by Elmore , who has a knack for doing just that . Third place in the final tally went to DUKE ’ S HANDY MAN and Hershel Talley . Hershel and his horse came in the ring battling for the honors and left in just the same manner . It was a strong performance from beginning to end that was well applauded by the crowd .
