■ FOUR-YEAR-OLD WALKING MARES Charlie Martin put on a steady and methodical show in winning the blue ribbon. ROCK-A-BY LADY gained the first place tie of two judges with a three-gaited performance that was with­ out flaw. Second award was presented to SHA­ KER’S MERRY ALLAN and Doug Wolaver. Doug showed his horse in impressive fashion while keeping the pressure on the winner. GO BOY’S DARK LADY Y. and Horace Young got stronger and stronger as the class wore on, and ended up with the yellow ribbon. The final workout featured 19 horses and they really gave the crowd quite a show.
