THREE-YEAR-OLD
WALKING MARES
JO BOVS BRENDA LEE kept up her winning ways as she captured the honors in this highly competitive class . Jimmy Waddell made another of his patented blue ribbon shows for owners Mr . and Mrs . Frank Parnell of Newbern , Tennessee . Reserve award was won by EBONY ’ S DOLLY and Sam Paschal . Sam has a real top contender in this big-lick mare and she should get even better in the future . Surprising many of the veteran ringside observers by tying third with a tremendous performance was DAT ’ S DE BABE and Jack Johnson . This mare has an airy way of going and is bound for even more top honors in the not too distant future .

MACK ' S COUNTRY SQUIRE and Russell Waggoner of Kingsport , Tennessee made a great show to capture two first place votes and the blue ribbon . Mr . Waggoner had his horse stepping high and fancy , and captivated the crowd with every pass in the running . The reserve honor was earned by Gayden Sehrock and PRIDE OF SPRING . This popular entry from Poplarville , Mississippi kept the pressure on COUNTRY SQUIRE throughout the class . W . T . Baynard of Baton Rouge , Louisiana guided MY SUNDUST SENSATION to the third place on the final card . Mr . Baynard tied first on one card against heavy competition .
