GELDINGS
The younger exhibitors of this fine breed took
over ^the spotlight with this well-filled cla s.
Very talented Gail Brinkley rode her horse,
CHANCES GYPSY SUN. to the top spot. Gail
is a determined competitor and she did an ex
cellent job of showing her horse in this class.
MERRY BLUE BOY and Ricky Rollins of Odes
sa Delaware, representing the Sugarloaf Farms,
captured the reserve ribbon with a strong show
ing in all three gaits. This young exhibitor
showed plenty of ring savvy as he guided his
horse to the red ribbon. The third place honors
went to GO BOY’S STORM CLOUD and David
Cagle of the Big Talk Stables, Atlanta, Georgia.

The 7,923 paid admissions braved the steady
rain to see this talent-laden class. The ring
was pretty well chewed up but the horses did
an excellent job under trying circumstances.
Winning the top honors was GO BOY’S SPEC
with Richard Woods up for R. B. Powell of
Hickory Valley, Tennessee. Richard and his
horse just stayed on the rail with a solid,
steady performance in three gaits. The reserve
