Beech and his fine assistants are to be commended for the fine manner in which they presented this entry . The reserve honor went to RODGERS PER­ FECTION for owners Short , Thompson and Gribble of Shelbyvllle and McMinnville , Tennessee . PERFECTION has recently moved to Middle Tennessee and is proving to be one of the most popular breeding horses in history . The third award went to 1965 World Grand Champion TRIPLE THREAT , owned by Koenig and Metzger of Daytona Beach , Florida . TRIPLE THREAT was a real favorite with the crowd and his future as a top sire looks bright

TWO-YEAR-OLD WALKING FILLIES The second night of the Celebration got off to a rousing start with the first saddle class of the show . Winning the blue ribbon in impressive fashion was Doug Wolaver on HAND­ SHAKER ’ S LADY KIM for owner Forrest Margrave of Lewisburg , Tennessee . This young filly battled all the way in gaining the nod of the judges . Reserve went to HIGH MACK ’ S MAJORETTE M with Carl Edwards up for C . D . McClelland of Morgan , Georgia . The yellow ribbon winner was DELIGHTFUL LADY with trainer Russell Pate up for owner Brad Speight of Jackson , Tennessee . An intermittent shower fell throughout this class .

Mac Carter of Murfreesboro , Tennessee . Tying third was STATE­ LY ’ S BLACK SHADOW for owners Wiley Messick and Son of Murfreesboro . These three horses exhibited plenty of natural ability and bloom . The handlers did an excellent job of showing their stock and the judges did a good job of tying the class .
