Give Your Photographer a Chance
Photography is a very important part of horse ptomo-
tion. Whether your horse is a show horse or you are
standing him at stud, you should concentrate on getting
the best possible photo of him. Those of you who have
had pictures of horses made before realize how difficult
it is to take a good picture. With this in mind we would
like to say “give your photographer a chance.’
There are several experienced and very good Walking
Horse photographers who will be glad to work with you
in your needs but your cooperation on several things
would be greatly appreciated by them. The following sug
gestions should help. (1) Don’t wait until the last minute
to contact him. If you know you are going to want an
action photograph of your show horse, don’t wait until
the last minute to call your photographer. These men
have a busy schedule and travel all over the country to
serve the needs of the vast Walking Horse public, so give
them a chance to work your pictures into their schedules
without undue deadlines. (2) Pick a good spot. You should
