Fashion Two Twenty Stables
Horse sense can go a long way towards making a success out of a stable operation . And , looking at another side of the ledger , it is easy to see that this same sense can go equally far in making a success of one ’ s business . Vernon G . “ Red ” Gochneaur of Fashion Two Twenty Stables has enjoyed plenty of success in both of these fields .
MR . FASHION TWO TWENTY , Gochneaur ’ s most prized Tennessee Walking Horse has captured every major honor on the horse show trail , including his most recent triumph in the deep south . The show points accumulated by this magnificent Tennessee Walker earned him the title “ Grand Champion Walking Horse of the 1967 Florida Sunshine Circuit .”
“ Red ” Gochneaur is widely known among amateur horsemen . Owner of the Fashion Two Twenty Stables in Aurora , Ohio , he is a past vice president of the American Walking Horse Association , founder and first president of the Buckeye Walking Horse Association , and has ridden a long list of Tennessee Walkers into the limelight .
Fashion Two Twenty cosmetics is headquartered in Aurora arid has recently moved into a new $ 300,000 warehouse and office . This company markets one hundred and thirteen cosmetic products .

Three of Gochneaur ’ s children also show horses and do a fine job . Roger shows in amateur classes , Gregg in juvenile classes and Candy in the ladies division . The Fashion Two Twenty Stable is indeed a beautiful layout . The 50 x 300 foot stable houses 23 stalls , an indoor work ring and a walnut-and-glass paneled tack room . Geneva Lee , Walking Horse Enthusiast , Dies in Accident
East Tennessee Walking Horse enthusiasts were saddened by the recent death of Mrs . Geneva Lee of Mc
Donald , Tennessee , who died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident May 28 .
Mrs . Lee was an avid Walking Horse rider and for the past several years had worked with her husband George and son Mike in training and showing their own horses . Geneva was well liked by the Walking Horse community and she was an excellent example of many of the smaller backyard type of trainers that make up the mass of our juvenile and amateur competition .
Those who knew her know that she loved this breed and the people connected with it and it will be a while
before we are used to her absence in the show ring . Our sincere regrets and sympathies are extended to her family and friends .
Mr . George Lee also suffered extensive head injuries in the accident but was released from the hospital and is recuperating at home .
