The Wisconsin Walking Horse Association held its November meetmg at the Seven Seas Restaurant on Lake Nagawicka , Hartland , Wise . A cocktail hour pre ceded a delicious dinner . A big crowd was present for the elections and program . Elected to the Board of Directors for three-year terms were : Bill Kuehl Col gate ; Joe Surinak , New Berlin ; Phil Krueger , Mequon Elected to fill an unexpired two-year term : Mary Lynn Treis , Grafton . Elected to fill an unexpired one-year term : George McGilvra , West Bend . The new officers are :" Larry Pickhardt , President ; John Krumm , Vice President ; Phil Krueger , Secretary-Treasurer .
The program was an excellent and informative talk by Dr . Don Coushum of the Waukesha Animal Hospital on a year in the life cycle of a horse . The next general meeting will be January 13 . We miss the Walter Peterson family , formerly of Cicero , Illinois , who have moved to Orlando , Florida .

Dude is working five two-year-olds , including LIT TLE JOE ’ S MIGHTY MAN , a black colt who won the blue at Franklinton his first time out for owners Mr . and Mrs . Cato Mayfield of Taylorsville , Miss . Dude is riding GOLDEN GIRL , a two-year-old showing a lot of promise , for Mr . and Mrs . Kerch May of Pearl ,
Miss . MERRY BOY ’ S SUNSHINE , owned by Mr . and Mrs . Jimmy Smith of Mendenhall , is another goodlooking colt that has not been shown . Dude is working two more two-year-olds that he has only been riding about a month .
Dude is well supplied with three-year-old horses . COALSMOKE , a loose black stud with a big lick , is owned by Mr . John McCormick of Jackson and Robinwood Stables . GO BOY ’ S HOT CHOCOLATE , owned by Miss Nita Harmon of Jackson , was a late colt and was not shown as a two-year-old , but should make a good horse . STAN THE MAN ALLEN O is a junior stallion owned by Owen Robinson of Jackson . This horse has won his share of blues since a two-year-old and he continues to improve .
Dude has three aged horses that are always ready for anyone ’ s competition . PERFECTION ’ S COMMAN DER is a big black stud owned by Mr . and Mrs . Floyd Williamson , Centreville , Miss . COMMANDER is a consistent show horse and he exhibits many of the traits of his famous sire . MERRY BOY ’ S FLAME is a horse that was outstanding as a young horse and then was not shown as a four- and five-year-old . Dude says he is coming back strong for owners Mr . and Mrs . Jimmy Smith , Mendenhall . LIMOUSINE ’ S GO BOY , owned by Mr . and Mrs . Prestwood , is Dude ’ s pride and joy . With the young horses requiring so much time , Dude has not had as much time for his horse as he would have likes , but he is getting better and better all the time and has won his share of blues .
News from Mr . E . L . Burgess of Sherrill , Arkansas says that his four-year-old black stallion , PERFEC TION ' S HUMOR ESQUE , is working better than ever for trainer E . L . O ’ Callaghan . HUMOR ESQUE is a natural Walking Horse with a big lick that everyone likes .
