As you may have noticed , there are now two of us bringing you Wisconsin news . My new " assistant ,” as Bill calls himself , will help bring news from farspread areas , as he does a lot of traveling in his work .
Bill and wife Suzy and their three lovely children are all Walking Horse enthusiasts , and at this time have a yearling stud colt in training in Tennessee . They also have two weanling fillies at home . All three are well-bred and good-looking colts .
Mr . Kuehl was the show7 chairman of the Third All Walking Horse Show held last August , and has recently been elected to the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Walking Horse Association . He is a most enthusiastic person in both of his hobbies - music is the other one . He is an excellent guitarist , writes songs , and has his own combo .

Mrs . Alice Kenyon of Eau Claire , Wise , has a beautiful coal-black stud colt out of her SUN ’ S FOREIGN AID and by MIDNIGHT PLEASURE , JR . She ’ s also proud of her chestnut yearling filly out of her double MERRY BOY mare , and by a MERRY KING ALLEN
stud .
Gene Losee of Hebron , 111 . is thrilled with the way his two-year-old SUN ’ S A-GO GO is coming along ( by his stud MIDNIGHT SHADOW L ), in training with John Price of Jasper , Tenn .
John McConnell of Woodstock , 111 . bought a nice gelding from John Price , so we ’ ll expect to see him on the circuit next year .
George McGilvra is back in Wisconsin and has opened a Walking Horse barn at West Bend . He had been trainer for B . J . Hecker of Winfield , Mo . This will be a great boon to Walking Horse owners in the state . Welcome back , Mac !
Sixteen-year-old Nancy Kiefer of Crystal Lake , 111 . is very excited about a two-year-old gelding she just purchased from Walter Norris ’ Norwood Farm of Burlington , Wise .
Ed McCoy of Brookfield , Wise , is training a black four-year-old mare , SUNDUST FIRECRACKER , for the William Edwards family of Northbrook , 111 . The Wisconsin Walking Horse Association ’ s last
general meeting was held at the Port Washington Country Club , Port Washington , Wisconsin , for cocktails , dinner and program , " How to Train a Two- Year-Old ,” given by Ed McCoy . It was greatly enjoyed and well attended .
The big award banquets serve as fitting ends to the show season for this area ( except for the Chicago
International ), and at each one Championships in four
