People scratched their heads and wondered. When the big gate swung open to let the entires in for the Junior World Championship Stake, there was little doubt that MAN OF RHYTHM was indeed a different horse. Boyd put him on the rail and left him there during the preliminary workout. As the horses were parked and stripped, a great deal of attention was focused on this horse. He stands fifteen-three hands tall and is well muscled with all the outstanding qualities of conformation that befit a World Champion. Regarding his conforma­ tion, Boyd Hudgins likes to point out that he now has a small, keen head with pin-point ears, but as a colt hr was not the prettiest he had ever seen. “Like Topsy, he just up and growed into cm”.
