10,000 Register for top PIDDLEY Colt at VOICE during Celebration PART OF THE CROWD—This is a general indication of the enthusiasm shown to the VOICE Colt-Give-away this year at the Celebration. At all times of the day and night, a good crowd could be seen signing up for the colt. The second annual edition of the VOICE of the Ten nessee Walking Horse magazines colt give away was an even bigger success than last year’s enthusiastically re ceived program. This year over 10,000 people stopped by the VOICE trailer on the Celebration grounds to sign up for the colt. This is an increase of over 2,000 on last years initial total. This years colt was a shiny black filly sired by PID DLEY and out of STARDUST DREAM mare. Thous ands of people went by her stall on the Celebration grounds to get a look at this top filly and came away impressed with her conformation and beauty. Approximately 3,000 people made the walk up to the Sale of Show Ring Champions tent on the last day of the Celebration to see the colt winners name drawn. The win ner was Mr. Don H. Stewart, 1337 Pratt Highway, Birm ingham, Alabama. Don was not present at the drawing but he came by later that same evening to claim his colt. Don and his lovely wife Glenene were as happy as two people can be. During the final evenings show, they left several times to get just one more look at their now- found pride and joy. After the Grand Championship 36 cob was officially presented to the Stewarts by Mr. C. Bruce Spencer, editor of the VOICE.
