OWNER AMATEUR ON WALKING HORSES,
ANY AGE OR SEX (Rider 50 years and over)
THUNDERBALL and W. T. Baynard put on
a good show for the Celebration crowd and
came away with the blue ribbon in this always
popular class. Mr. Baynard did not show his
age in this class as he exhibited his horse like
a pro. Frank Parnell piloted DARK MAGIC
to the reserve tie in this class of 30 entries.
Third place ribbon went to Joe Wright and
SUN'S CELEBRATION. These fine gentlemen
did a good job showing their horses and really
worked for their honors.

TWO YEAR OLD WALKING STALLIONS - A
EBONY'S OLD CROW and Russell Pate got
the unanimous endorsement of all three judges
with a spectacular showing. Russell had his
horse in high gear throughout the class and
did not give the other contenders a chance
to beat him. Joe Webb and SENOR PER
FECTION tied reserve among the 42 entries
in this action packed class. Jimmy Waddell
guided EBONY'S MERRY MAN to the third
spot in the final tally with a strong showing
on the rail. These two year olds represented
the fine breeding and excellent training that
is necessary to make a champion.
