THREE YEAR OLD WALKING GELDINGS
Jimmy Holloway had a lot of horse under
saddle in this class of 24 three year olds and
showed his mount to perfection. MR. PETE'S
SHADOW proved to be the top choice of two
judqes in this talented class. Second award
went to SOCIETY'S LITTLE MAN with Harvey
ij_efevers doing the chores. Harvey's horse
stayed in the thick of things throughout the
class. Mann Ring and SHADOW'S PARADER
tied first on one judges card but ended up
with the third place tie. These three year
olds showed plenty of stamina plus three good
gaits.

WALKING SEAT EQUITATION
This class depends solely on the rider as the
horse is not considered at all in the judging.
With this in mind 21 entries hit the gate to
compete for the blue ribbon. Amelia Allen
came out with the honor for the top rider.
Reserve ribbon honors went to Diana Arm
strong for her fine showing. Tying third place
was Robbie Pegram. These riders exhibited
the qualities of top riders in this class which
is the test of the rider and not the horse.

CHAMPIONSHIP WALKING YEARLING
SHADOW'S LILA was everything a yearling
should be as this fine colt tied first over seven
other top entries. Owned by Mr. and Mrs.
Lacy West this fine young entry looks like a
real top contender of the future. Second tie
went to GO BOY'S RAM ROD owned by
Jimmy Hackett Stables. This horse tied first
on one card while exhibiting many outstanding
qualities. Rounding out the top three was
GO BOY'S BEST BEAT for Mrs. Frank Parnell.
This championship class created quite a bit of
interest among Celebration spectators and the
results were loudly applauded.
