RULE CHANGE

CLASSES : 2- Year-old . . . No canter 3- Year-old 4- Year-old and under to be Junior horse . Mares and geldings to be ridden by a lady . Amateur :
OPEN : Stallions , mare , gelding . Championship Stake : Mares and geldings to be ridden by juveniles . Walking Pony : Stallions , mares , and geldings , 14.2 and under . Shows may offer classes for small horses not exceeding 15.2 but over 14.2 .
PLEASURE CLASSES :
Open to stallions , mares , or geldings . Shows may divide classes as to riders age , horses age or sex , or limit to amateur riders or open class . Horses in pleasure class must be plain shod ; no pads permitted .
Horses competing in pleasure class not eligible for other classes at same show in which performance of the horse is the decided factor .
The percentages are 40 % for running walk ; 20 % flat walk ; 20 % canter ; 20 % for conformation , in all classes , except in 2-year-old class the percentage shall be 50 % running walk ; 25 % flat walk and 25 % for conformation .

BOOTS

The same boots as last year . Only change the bell portion of the hinge boot may weigh up to 12 ounces .
Leather or rubber bell boots must not weigh over 12 ounces ; narrow or so called dog collar boots prohibited .

REGISTRATION

All colts shall be registered the same year as foaled ; if you fail to do so the fee is $ 100.00 to register as a yearling . No horse can be registered after December 31st of the second year foaled .
Effective January 1 , 1967 , any one stallion will be allowed 100 registrations for his colts during the calendar year , and beginning January 1 , 1966 , stallion owner is required to file by the 10th of the following month the name of his stallion and registration number of same , the number of mares bred to the stallion the preceding month . The Association can require him to bring in his records for comparison at any time .
