COLORED GROOMS ON
WALKING HORSES.
ANY AGE OR SEX
This class brought the crowd to life as the
real workers in the Walking Horse world got
a chance to show their wares. Willis Cook on
Go Boy’s Big Talk took the top billing on all
three judges' cards and won the blue with a
fine showing. Moonlight Shadow and Bo Hiles
came on strong to tie second over 21 other
entries in this class. Earl Daniel guided Shad
ow at Midnight to the yellow ribbon with a
strong showing from start to finish as he
spared no effort to win the blue. This class
is a just reward for these grooms who spend
many hours working hard just for this chance.

JUDGE
MARY
The Celebration Walking Horse judges got
a break in this class. It was judged by Miss
Heather Holmes, whose number was drawn
from among the entries. Merry Blue Boy with
Kenny Dickson doing the honors tied the blue
after showing well in the final workout. Sha
ron Terry on Shadow's Replica was awarded
the runner-up position on the strength of her
fine performance in the running walk. Sharon
always has some top horses and this time
she used her horse's qualities to best ad
vantage. Doctor’s Remedy, carrying Dr. Por
ter Rodgers. Jr., made a very good showing
to take the yellow ribbon over several other
quality horses.
