THREE-YEAR OLD WALKING STALLIONS Shadow's King Cotton was the crowd's choice and after several magnificent passes he became the judges' choice in this action- packed class. Buddy Hugh rode the big white horse perfectly as the stallion showed tremen dous speed in the running walk to go with a controlled flat-foot walk and real "rocking chair" canter. Flashy Silver Shadow’s Replica with Marvin Wilson in the irons gave the white horse a good battle and placed second. Set ting Sun's Apollo, last year's two-year-old grand champion, with talented trainer Billy Brantley doing the riding, stayed on the rail and tied third. This class truly got the crowd in an excited frame of mind and served to set the tempo for the rest of the Celebration.
