TWO-YEAR-OLD WALKING STALLIONS , CLASS " A "
Goldfinger , a beautiful honey-colored stallion with a flaxen mane and tail , proved to be the unanimous choice of both the fans and the judges as he swept the title with a brilliant performance in both the flat-foot and running walks . 38 horses were entered in this , the first of two classes for two-year-old stallions , and Wink Groover showed his horse to perfection in capturing this honor over many other outstanding entries . Buddy Hugh and Gunsmoke ’ s Minute Man tied reserve and showed the crowd tv / o superb gaits . Third place honors went to Hap ’ s Sensation with C . A . Bobo doing the riding . Charlie kept his horse on the rail and displayed some fine riding in grabbing the third spot .

TWO-YEAR-OLD WALKING STALLIONS , CLASS “ B "
Joe Webb did some real entertaining as he rode The Entertainer to the blue ribbon in this second class of two-year-old stallions . This big black stud showed the crowd two smooth , flowing gaits reminiscent of his famous sire . Big Shot ’ s T Bird with Billy Brantley in the saddle displayed a big lick and beautiful conformation in tying second . Billy captured the two-year-old championship at Columbia and showed many people why T Bird has been labeled a top horse of the future . Don Paschal and Merry ’ s Gold Sun also gave the crowd reason to cheer as they worked well and tied third in this class full of promising two-year-olds .

JUVENILES RIDING WALKING MARES OR GELDINGS
Fair Warning , a veteran of many championships , carried young Kay Pierce to the winners ' circle in this crowded class . 62 entries vied for the honors in this class and many good horses were battling for the blue . Fair Warning showed the form that has won her fame over the years and thrilled the crowd with her near-flawless performance . Sherrill Marks and Go Boy ’ s Jet were in there walking all the time and tied second . Go Boy ’ s Hurricane was blowing strong for Amy Waters and grabbed the yellow ribbon . Amy did a good job in showing this horse , and this is indeed necessary in classes of this size .
