STALLION STABLES PREPARING FOR BIG SEASON One of the centers of Walking Horse activity from now until fall will be the famous Stallion Sta bles, across from the Vic Thomp son training barn, neary Shelby- ville, Tennessee. Here manager Ed Ezell, Jr., and his assistants have everything ready for a great breed ing season with several of the most outstanding Walking sires in the nation. MERRY GO BOY. MID NIGHT MACK K, SUNDUST, GO BOY’S INVASION and STATELY GO BOY are all under the man agement of Stallion Stables, Inc. All of these stallions are stand ing to the public at stud fees which are published elsewhere in this ma gazine. It should be emphasized that one does not have to belong to a syndicate to breed to one of these horses. In fact, no further shares are being sold on any of these stallions. Holders of shares in a syndicate have the right to breed because of that ownership, but anyone may pay the stud fee and breed to any of these outstand ing stallions. Also, opportunities for breeding on a partnership basis are explained in detail elsewhere in this issue. Manager Ezell urges all prospec tive breeders to come by and dis cuss arrangements well in advance of breeding time. Visitors are, of course, welcome at all times at Stallion Stables. DRIFTWOOD STABLES (Contd.) (Continued from Page 6) Backing up the horses now in training and coming along fine is a string of excellent brood mares with twelve weanling colts, by EBONY MASTERPIECE. These mares, hand picked to nick well with the MASTERPIECE blood, are mainly by old MERRY BOY or MIDNIGHT SUN. Taking stock of what is now taking place at Drift Wood Acres
