CLASS 47 - OWNER-AMATEUR WALKING HORSES, ANY AGE OR SEX, RIDER TO JUDGE
This class is always interesting from the viewers
standpoint and everyone was actively trying to tie
the class along with the amateur judge. Conceeding
the fact that it looks quite a bit different from the
inside, Mr. Kendall Armstrong of Englewood, Ten
nessee, was selected by lot and proceeded to tie
Vickie Lynn Thompson first on MR. SHOWMAN, fol
lowed by Kenny Dickson of Evans Stables, Athens,
Tennessee and third was Pauline Wiener Rentz up
on SOCIETY'S SURPRISE for Circle 4 Horse Farm,
Cedartown, Georgia. A good class all the way.

CLASS 51 - JUVENILES RIDING WALKING MARES OR GELDINGS, CHAMPIONSHIP STAKE
Bringing together some of the top juvenile riders of
the nation, this class was destined to create some
real excitement. Little Jan Wright of Nacogdoches,
Texas, riding DARK SHADOW did not let the
crowd down. She aimed for the blue and received
the top spot on two cards to win the class. Pushing
Jan from start to finish was Sherrill Marks, herself
a blue ribbon winner in the previous 13-18 Juvenile
Class, riding her GO BOY'S JET, who was tied second
in an excellent show. Third was GO BOY'S CHAL-
LANGER with popular Linda Robinson up, who made
a strong bid herself for top honors.
