Neal Branscum has joined with Joe Martin in the training opera tion in these splendid facilities. Neal has brought with him from the Arnold Farms (which has been closed as a training barn because of Mr. Arnold’s retirement) eight good horses, so the Beckler-Brown Stables has now a total of twenty- nine in training. Among those winning the rib bons are: JOHNNY MIDNIGHT, full brother to SUN’S DELIGHT, owned by Mr. A. S. Dean, Mur freesboro, Tennessee, and shown by- Neal Branscum; and MIGHTY SUN, owned by J. R. Lewis. Georgetown, Kentucky, and shown by Joe Martin. Mr. Ray Beckler is especially proud of three of his young horses: GO BOY’S BLUE ANGEL, a junior mare that had a good show record as a two-year- old; SHADOW’S RED SPARKLE, a two-year-old filly by GO BOY’S SHADOW out of a full sister to SUN’S DELIGHT; and GUN SMOKE’S COMMANDER, a black two-year-old stallion.
