HORACE YOUNG STABLES
Horace Young from Columbia
has a barn full of horses these
days. Tops on his list is the World’s
Champion pony, LITTLE BIT OF
TROUBLE, that is owned by Joe
Kelly and shown by Ray Beech.
Joe Kelly will be showing SUN-
DUST JUBILEE this year. This is
the horse that Jim Kelly won
around 20 blues with as a two year
old. Speaking of Jim, he’s been in
France for Uncle Sam for about
two years, but is back in Columbia
now, ready to become active in
the show world again. Horace has
a mare ready to show this season
for Tom Jones of Brentwood, Ten
nessee, that’s a full sister to
NIGHT SHADE. Another mare
from this stable this year will be
one owned by S. M. Barr of Bax
ter, Tennessee. There’s another
pony in the future for these sta
bles, SUN DUST LITTLE REBEL
that Judy Young will be showing
this year. This is one that they say
has a tremendous amount of speed.

SETTING SUN'S APOLLO
Undefeated in 1964! Acclaimed by judges, trainers
and spectators as the most perfect two year old colt
in the show ring today. SETTING SUN'S APOLLO,
trained and ridden by Billy Brantley can be classed
with the true greats of the Walking Horse world.
There are some faster and there are some bigger. . .
but none can sit back on the rail and perform with
the rhythm and motion of this little red sorrel with
the flying white mane and tail. Watch for him in the
major Walking Horse shows—SETTING SUN'S APOLLO.
