^^(vjkUING H0RSE JANUARY TEI GO BOY'S SHADOW RETURNS TO TENNESSEE GO BOY’S SHADOW, Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse at the National Celebration in 1955 and 1956, has been returned to Tennessee for stallion service at the Bailey - Montgomery Stables, near Shelbyville, Tennessee. Ac cording to Mr. H. C. Bailey, owner of the famous horse, and Mr. Jack Montgomery, Manager of the Bailey - Montgomery Stables, no sale or lease is involved in the transfer of this widely — respected sire from Mississippi to Tennessee. SHADOW has been standing at the H. C. Bailey Stables, in Jack- son, Mississippi, since his purchase in December, 1961, from the estate of the late Winston Wiser, the trainer who guided him to his victories in the show ring. The price paid for this champion was reported to be the highest ever received for a Tennessee Walking Horse. Since the Bailey - Mont gomery Stables occupy the site of the former Wiser Stables, SHAD OW will be really “coming home.” Also standing at the Bailey-Mont- gomery Stables is PIDDLEY, who was also purchased from the Wiser estate and who is making quite a reputation as a sire. Foaled on the famous Porter Rodgers Farm, Searcy, Arkansas, GO BOY’S SHADOW was pur chased as a colt by Winston Wiser and shown sensationally to scores of victories, including World’s Grand Championship in 1955 and 1956. SHADOW has proved to be one of the foremost sires of modern times, as his progeny have won countless victories in the show rings of America. Admirers of this great champion are invited to visit him at his home in the Bailey-Montgomery Stables, Lewisburg Pike, Shelbyvile, Ten nessee.
