WALKING MARES , FOUR-YEARS-OLD AND OVER
GO BOY ’ S LITTLE MYSTERY proved very much in solid form to win the blue with Steve Hill up . The vote was spread in this class of top contenders . LITTLE MYSTERY received first by the call judge , second by Judge No . 2 and fifth by the referee giving her enough combined points for first place . Second place went to Harold Kennedy on a marc with perfect rhythm and a crowd-pleasing “ way-of-going ” . . . SHADOW ’ S GAY LADY . His win came with one second nod and two fourths from the “ powers-that-be .” Albert Rowland , on GO BOY ’ S MEG , proved strong enough to tie third and GOLD SUN GOLDEN GIRL , with Sam Paschal up , took the fourth place spot . This was one of the fastest mare classes ever and all contenders made a strong bid for top honors .
