Horse Takes Part In Library Book Gift
Miss Clyde Smith of the Olivia Raney Public Library , Raleigh , N . C . sends us a clipping from the News and Observer that shows a novel presentation ceremony ” of horse books to the library — said presentation included a gift of the Biography of the Tennessee Walking Horse sponsored by a friend . ( That makes 2 for that library .) The scene was siaged in front of the library with a lovely girl on a white horse ( Silver Mac ) taking part .
The gift of § 100 worth of horse books was from the Capital Horsemen ' s Assn .
