California Exhibitors Elect ; Approve Point System For ' 62
New officers for the Tennessee Walking Horse Exhibitors ' Assn , of California were elected at the annual meeting in Los Angeles in December with Mrs . Jean McBurney of Claremont succeeding President Dwain Clark , according to Noddings — edited by Mrs . Marjorie Sunderland of Pasadena .
R . Mitchel McClure presented the nominating committee ’ s report with the following recommendations :
President , Mrs . McBurney ; first vice-president , Mrs . Florence Bishop , Midway City ; second vice-president , R . Mitchel McClure , Los Angeles ; secretary-treasurer , Mrs . Robert Sunderland , Flintridge ;
Board of directors , Dwain Clark , Ray Totten , Lew > Williams , Mrs . June Unger and Mrs . Helene Kahn . It was decided to continue the point system as used in 1962 with five shows and the futurity to count in points . The Cow Palace Show will be the Pacific Coast Championship show and points will not be counted toward California championships .
Retiring President Clark presented the following high point trophies for 1962 :

Mare , Go Boy ’ s Dixiecrat , owned by Mr . and Mrs . J . Lowell Merrill ;
Stallion-gelding , tie trophies to Mr . Successor of Courtesy Stables and Stately Go Boy , owned by Adrian Light ;
Junior Horse , Mr . Successor ; Ladies Horse , My Little Margie , owned by Mrs . Jean McBurney ;
Stake Horse , Stately Go Boy , owned by Adrian Light .
Officers elected by the Pacific Coast Walking Horse Association , a group of pleasure riders meeting at Glendora , Calif ., are :

Finished show and pleasure horses , clots from such world champion mares as Midnight Mist , Sun ' s Lilac Time , Dixie Darling as well as other royally bred matrons — Midnight Sun — Merry Boy bred mares for sale . Many times champion Danny Boy O at stud . Excellent training and boarding facilities .
