The dedication featured a prayer by O. C. Lightner of Ohio, brief remarks by State Rep. William G. Mr. Lightner's prayer called upon all persons present to look to the Lord for guidance as a great enterprise was launched. “1 am very much impressed with the progress already made in launch ing a new industry into the County of Indiana, Pennsylvania,” declared Rep resentative Buchanan. “I am very much interested in the furtherance of this industry—and I can assure you that if Governor Scran ton were here today he likewise would be much inspired and encouraged over the prospects Mr. Ferguson has outlined to us.” State Rep. President Bill Ferguson of Quiki Tree Stables then revealed his plans which are certain to startle the Ten nessee Walking Horse World. “We plan to proceed as soon as the plans are completed to duplicate here the wonderful Celebration Grounds that 1 visited in Shelbyville last year for the 24th annual Celebra tion—and will visit again this year for the Silver Anniversary of that World Championship Tennessee Walking Horse Show,” said Ferguson. “Ben Green—whom I trust—tells me they can seat 20,000 people at the Celebration Grounds this year with a new addition—and I tell you we will in time be able to seat 20,000 people here around a track that is exactly equal to the Celebration track. Ben tells me it is 300 feet long and 150 feet wide—including the infield. Ben has given me the specifications and we will duplicate it here—includ ing stands—within the next few years.” Ferguson went on as his audience gasped and gaped. "Only two pictures in our place means anything to me, "remarked Bill Fer guson, Squire of Quiki Tree Stables, "They are my wife and my horse. Our Citation.
