The new parks are part of an invigorated Morgan Hill downtown that is changing at lightning speed. The Rotary club’s gift was made possible through the Ro- tary Club of Morgan Hill Endow- ment, which makes so many of the Rotarians stand on the bridge they funded as part of the Park Project. club’s scholarship and giving programs possible. The Endowment is a non- profit that began in 1992 with the gift of a house from the estate of a local family. Tax deductible donations from individuals, families, trusts, foundations, corporations and fundraising events have helped build the endowment. Every year the interest and dividends from the gifts are used to serve the needs of the community. Respected and knowledgeable local Rotarians serve on the board of directors that oversees the fund and maximizes the use of every dollar. The club has been able to do its work for the community because the commu- nity has believed and invested in Rotary.
