IGNITE
The melodious tunes of the Omani Trio could be heard as guests enjoyed great food, wine and bocce at the
Rebekah Children’s Services “Ignite” event benefitting the Adelante Family Resource Center.
Thanks to the continued partnership with Frank Leal, Sycamore Creek Vineyards hosted the successful
event on their breathtaking property. A heart-felt and moving speech was given by the 2017 Kim Ordaz
Award recipient, Tami Espinosa. Tami is not only the current principal at Luigi Aprea Elementary School, but
a lifelong educator and advocate for children. She has inspired students, staff and the community with her
kind heart and gentle spirit to reach their full potential. She embodies the vision the Family Resource Center
has for all families in the community and what Kim Ordaz stood for. The Family Resource Center serves
families with children ages 0-6, however all families that need support or services of any kind are welcome.
