ers and Motorsports all in the house with an assortment of street bikes and multi-passenger ATVs. Basically we had Harley-Davidson, Victory, Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and KTM all represented. I’d say that’s a mighty fine selection. If you are in need of a way to haul your scooter or off -road ride around, Croft Trailer displayed several models that would fit any budget. Speaking of trailers, Wide Open Custom Plastics rolled in with their shiny new trailer complete with awning and a fleet of scooters wearing their custom fairings. Transwest had you covered if an RV is in your future plans. No bike show is complete without music. Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders joined us again this year, providing a steady stream of crowdpleasing tunes all weekend long. On several occasions attendees could be spotted boot scootin and two-steppin their hearts out to the beats Jim and the band laid down. Saturday afternoon, the prize money began flowing. The first recipients of Wide Open prize money were the top three winners of our tattoo contest. The entrants displayed artwork representing hundreds of hours along with thousands of dollars spent. A decibel meter was employed to monitor crowd applause for each the entrant’s eye-catching art work. This year’s ink was better than any displayed in previous years, and the crowd’s appreciation was thundering to say the least. In the end Patty Dye, Chris Bell, and Ryan McHenry took home the top three places pocketing prizes of $300.00, $200.00 and $100.00. Not a bad payday in anybody’s book. More of Ralph’s money was available for contestants of the best bike stereo contest. Cash prizes were again $300.00, $200.00, and $100.00 respectively with the added bonus of kick ass trophies for the top 3 finishers. Chris Rapp was the owner of the scooter with the loudest tunes. Remember his name for future reference. Second place went to Donnie Houk and Jon Burns finished a very respectable 3rd. Outlaw Jim and the boys fired up the stage and the crowd until the 6:00 o’clock hour rolled around. The time had finally come for the bikini 8 Wide Open
