Step Eight: Agreements
Remember to think Win/Win…think about success – for your program and
for the prospective sponsor.
Ask for and/or get agreement from the prospective sponsor on “what a successful program” looks like.

Agree on how you will provide data/results from the program in advance.
•
Agree on what the company measures: ROI, ROO, leads, awareness,
etc.
•
Agree on the company’s desired outcome (objective) for the program?
Do not include anything in the agreement that you cannot or don’t believe
you can deliver just to secure the sponsorship.
•
Remember you always want to build long-term value in your program
as your organization or program’s reputation is at stake!
