TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAINTENANCE 1.1  The Building Science Ltd guarantee requires that walls, be cleaned annually, with a chemical / detergent wash. And gutters and stormwater drains to be kept clear of any debris etc. 1.2  It is expected a new surface coating of elastomeric paint will need to be applied to all walls , at some stage between purchase and 7 years after purchase. This will be determined during the annual maintenance inspection. The guarantee does not replace regular maintenance and external coating application. Failure to apply an external coated when required voids the guarantee. ANNUAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM An annual maintenance program must be maintained. 2.1 This consists of an annual soft wash. Gutters and stormwater drains to be checked for debris that may create blockages etc. 2.2   Cladding Inspection Annual Inspection performed once per calendar year recorded in HD video using a Go-Pro on a pole to enable each external penetration on the exterior walls to be recorded. 2.3   Annual Wash of the property This must happen within 4 weeks of the anniversary of the purchase of the property
