As the main expressway leading into and out of Miami Beach, an iconic architectural
bridge has been proposed for this integral roadway. The $800 million dollar project
began in 2017 and will comprise of a public plaza beneath the expressway and a
signature bridge that will forever transform the Downtown Miami skyline. Magic City Innovation District is located in Little Haiti. It is a 15 acre development that
will attract technology companies and retailers. The $1 billion project will be
developed in multiple phases over several years with the beginning focused on
repurposing existing dilapadated factory space.
