Keep doing your thing, ma. THE BATTLES Sammie Wild 100s vs. 4Kus The first battle of the night was a spirited encounter between Sammie Wild 100s and 4kus. Sammie outshines 4kus in a few major areas throughout this battle.  Sammie — with a prop of Popeye’s chicken — sort of hurt his 2nd round.  4kus meanwhile, donated his 2nd round to fantasies of f**king Mz.Gracie. Sammie returns in the 3rd with an ill breakdown of the card.  4kus is up with jokes and aggression.  Decent battle, but it was clear Sammie took the W. Ooops vs. Mr. Mill$ Ooops starts off strong in the first, but he ends his round flat. Mr.Mill$ steps up and builds a strong first around about Ooops being a cancer survivor. In the second, Ooops returns fire with an emotional round regarding his health.  Mill$ chokes in the second, but has a great round otherwise.  Ooops brings up how Norbes looks down on RBE in the third. Ooops chokes twice during this round, but it was minor. Mill$’ third grew stronger as it ended, with Mill$ also throwing shots at DNA and Clips. Hazey vs. Showoff À la Cortez, Showoff snatches the coin from the air and begins to rap. He’s consistent and clean during his round.  Hazey is next and immediately digs into Showoff, on everything from his singing to his name flips. Probably the best Hazey anybody has seen.  Showoff steps it up tremendously during the second, while Hazey does the opposite. The battle is pretty much tied up going into the third. Showoff has an amazing third round, while after a few bars, Hazey gives up and stops rapping. Jimz, from the TrapHouse, is allowed mic time at this point. He disses QP for the no-show at the TrapHouse event and pretty much calls out Shotgun Suge. Cash Capone vs. Dre Dennis This was the battle that was a 1-rounder.  Cash is up first and wasn’t half-bad, despite a slip up. Dre is up next and although his round was good, he ends it flat; similar to Ooops in his first. Jai Smoove vs. Ms. Miami Definitely the bodybag of the night. Props to Jai, but Miami has a phenomenal performance that night. Jai had a giant choke in the second that lasted minutes. Miami was pretty flawless throughout the battle. Jai again choked and then gave up in the third. JC vs. Syah Boy First off, special shouts to both, who took this battle on a week’s prep. JC is up first and immediately crafts a strong, aggressive round. Before Syah’s first starts, his watch breaks due to his movements. Bigg K, myself and about four other people in the front began to laugh. Syah’s first is good, but he had to work to bring the crowd back after the watch incident. The battle gets better in the second, from both.  The third round between JC and Syah is one of the best of the whole night.  Both dudes seem hungry and Syah actually kept up with JC. 9
