100 BARS MAGAZINE 010 JUN/JULY 2014 | Page 23

I’m working on now, when I get to L.A. I got the trainers out there, they’re amazing, they trained with Floyd Mayweather, shout out to Leroy and Leon, my African brothers they train models and everything like that, and I have to try to stay away from certain foods and eat clean.   HurricaneDu: You rarely show off your assets, do you have any advice for females who feel they need to show off their body to attain a certain amount of success?   Lady Luck: What I’ve learned from my life is,  every bodies path is different. You have some females who become successful without taking their clothes off at all, and  then you got some females who suck dick on camera and they marry certain rappers. Your path is your path.    HurricaneDu: I hope we see you battle one last time, it would have been great to see you and Hustle get it in, you guys went back and forth on twitter, that battle was highly anticipated and I believe it would have been just as entertaining.   Lady Luck: Yeah well it ain’t on me, it’s on Smack and Beasley and them, we were gonna do it at Queen of the Ring, QOTR was going to give me the money I was asking for, it was official, I was ready. Then all of a sudden Hustle not answering her phone, then they was telling me they wanna do it at Summer Madness…at this time I was in L.A. and Beasely I guess we the time zones, and I guess they’re so busy…whatever it is…we never got a chance to get things together, so I ain’t even accuse Beasely of trying to sabotage my s**t.   HurricaneDu: I thought that was gonna be the ticket of the summer or at least one of the hottest cards for 2014.   Lady Luck: I seen him (Beasely) at QOTR, he told me he had some things coming up in December and all this other stuff, but by then, God willing, the way everything else is working out, I’m not gonna have time for it. I ain’t have time for it then, these n***as keep calling me, I ain’t never call n***as like ‘yo I wanna battle let me back in’, now these n***as keep calling me, they’ve been calling me for years. Finally when I said yes, nobody comes through, which is beyond odd to me.        Challenges are taken taken quite seriously in battle rap, as they should be, after all it is the nature of the sport. Lady Luck is a woman of her word, when challenged, if the money is correct, she rises to the occasion. Hopefully we will get to witness her grace the stages of battle rap again. 100.     — Hurricane Du         23
