Novie Blendz: Cool, now I
notice that there are some
people who take their aggression
outside of battling, what is your
take on that?
Danny Myers: Oh that is whack
as hell! Fa real that is whack! If
you’ve watched some of my battles
you will see if someone says some
nice shit on me during a battle I’m
going to give them their props. I
mean to me it’s fun, some people
take it too serious, it’s like you a
fucking jerk! I mean we over here
talking about killing each other
fucking each other baby mama’s,
killing our kids and our parents,
like that’s all made up! I mean if
you don’t know the person or have
an actual real life beef with them
and you take all that anger outside
of battling then your corny, like
you’re a lame for that. At the end
of the day I feel like it’s just about
good sportsmanship.
Novie Blendz: I feel you on that
one. How do you feel about the
statement “battle rappers can’t
make music?
Danny Myers: I mean there are a
lot of us that make good music.
But there are some guys who don’t
know how to get out of battle
mode in order to make a song. It’s
like they can’t make that transition
from battling to song writing, and
as a result they can be off beat and
it doesn’t sound right. Like they
sound like they are in constant
battle mode, and there is no
difference in their music and Z\
