Roast Dinner
Voted as number one on
the list was the ‘roast
dinner’, otherwise known
as ‘Sunday lunch’ or
‘Sunday roast’ (because it
is usually eaten on
Sundays). It is a traditional
meal where family comes
and eats together, after a
long working week.
It consists of roast beef or
chicken, boiled or roast
potatoes, and two or three
kinds of vegetables.
Sometimes it is also
served with Yorkshire
puddings. And oh, don’t
forget the gravy!
