Training and Opportunities Transferable to the Civilian World

The Army Reserve can offer you the chance to gain qualifications in your spare time that are applicable to both service in the armed forces and in civilian life. Aside from gaining new skills, there is also the opportunity to earn whilst you are learning them. Few part-time employers will offer more training, whilst paying you.

Many people outside of the army

and even in the regular army do not

realise the diverse range of skills

and qualifications open to reserve

soldiers. Some of them can even

provide greater scope for employ

-ment in terms of your capability.

Many individuals cannot get jobs

because they have not had the facility

to learn how to drive. The Army Reserve

can give you just that, B License

training, testing and qualification for free and pay you for your time. It doesn't stop there either, as you can then go on to further driver training in C, C+E, D, H licenses, off-road training and hazmat.

For some, the qualifications they have gained have made their quality of life better. Increasing, not only their curriculum vitae, but also their confidence, self-worth, drive and desire to improve.
