DENIM

With so many styles to pick from, just grabbing a new pair of jeans can sometimes be a daunting task. How do you know what to choose, what's in style, or even what you'll like? The best method, of course, is to actually try them all on yourself. But if that's too much, here's a few tips about what's happening now in the world of denim.

FLARES

This style has been "out" for the better part of the past decade, but has recently come back on the scene with a vengeance thanks to a large 70's style revival happening right now. Flare leg jeans can be a woman's best friend, and when worn correctly can give you the long lean look you've always wanted.

Fit is key. Make sure they're fitted at the top and that the "flare" starts at the top of the calf muscle or just below the knee. Any lower and you've got bell bottoms; any higher and the proportion is off.

Unless you've been blessed with long lean legs already, flares are best worn with high heels or wedges and should almost, if not completely, cover the shoe. Never wear flare jeans that are too short.
