MAKEUP REVIEW
You may already know that I love my Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara, I bought it about a year ago and use it all the time. So when my friend Alisha contacted me and asked if I'd do a review on some Younique products for the magazine, I couldn't pass it up! She sent me the Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eye Liner in Black and the Lucrative Lip Gloss in Luscious.
Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eye Liner
I've never been a fan of pencil eye liners. They're hard to put on and they wear off too quickly. However, the Younique eyeliner is great. It goes on super smooth (no eyelid pulling) and it stays put all day. In fact, as I'm typing this, it's 1am and my eyeliner still looks great. Wish I could say the same for the rest of my face but thats life. I am now a pencil eye liner convert.
I wear lip gloss almost daily but I'm a little picky about it. If its too sticky, not the right color, or drys out my lips, it goes in the drawer never to be seen again. The lucrative gloss is my new favorite for every day. The color is gorgeous and its super saturated. You can wear it light for more sheer color, or heavier and the color is almost like a lipstick. It lasts a while too for a gloss, and it doesn't have a weird smell or taste, which is always a plus.
Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash Mascara
I consider myself somewhat of a mascara junkie. I've been wearing it since the 7th grade and literally will not leave the house without it. This mascara is AMAZING! It makes wimpy, barely there lashes, look full and feathery and fabulous! If you haven't tried it, it's worth it for sure. I will say that it takes some getting used to. It's easy to over do the fibers and end up with them all over your face or with what can only be desribed as spider leg lashes. I watched a tutorial online because I'm a visual person, but it's easy enough to figure out on your own too. Just start out light and you can always add more.
