Facebook is one of the most popular social networks nowadays, it has over million users and it used worldwide. However, not everyone thinks that Facebook is one of the greatest things that has happened to the world. In my opinion Facebook has both its positive and negative aspects.
To begin with, one major advantage of having a Facebook profile is meeting new people. For example, on Facebook we can find someone from another country or even from another continent and we can become good virtual friends.
Secondly, another positive aspect is that we can be in contact with someone who is far away from us. For instance, if we have cousins who live in another town or another country, we can be in contact with them every day.
The third advantage of having a Facebook account is that we can see news that happen all over the world. For example, we can follow popular pages which report import news ewers day and put them on their Facebook page.
Nevertheless, this social network has its negative aspects. Firstly, one major disadvantage is that we can get addicted to Facebook. For example, someone who spends a lot of time in front of a computer can become antisocial and lose friends from the real world.
Another negative aspect is that we can be target of someone who is dealing with trafficking. For example, if our information on Facebook is public every one can see them and that may not be very good for us.
Finally, an additional disadvantage is retaliated to teenagers. They can start to do bad school and get bad marks if they spend a lot of time on Facebook.
To sum up, it is obvious that is famous social network can be useful but everything but everything depends on how we use it.
