At the age of 4, molly burke’s world has started to darken when she was diagnosed retinitis pigmentosa, a rare disease that causing the loss of her vision. Her eyes has darkened, but she still went through challenges and began bringing light to others. She began speaking in public at the age of just 5 as an ambassador for the foundation fighting blindness canada.
As a student, molly was tormented by bullies and suffered from depression and anxiety. It wasn’t until she found the strength to face her challenges, and the courage to reach out to others, that she came to see the light and find hope.
