Better light a candle

uccess and failure are two faces of the same coin. During the phase of bad times or hopelessness it is better to do some good work,

howsoever small it may be, than to complain about the situation around. It is worthwhile to take even the smallest of the actions to come out of the situation rather than to do nothing and curse our misery. Failures are the stepping stones to the success. They act as the doors to the next chapters of our life. Turning the next page of the book helps us to move on in our life. It is of no use to close it, do nothing and escape away from it. Failures can induce fresh thinking in us and change the direction of our life. They can prompt us to take risks because there is less to loose. Often they bring a new ray of energy and an awareness of new possibilities. We should not feel frustrated and disappointed with our failures; instead failures should be taken as a boon which gives us strength to fight back with fierce fortitude and invincible zeal. There is a saying that blessed are those who have failed once. Failures make us capable to evaluate our shortcomings and urge us to attain new heights. Failures show us how and why we could not succeed, which in essence, show us how we can succeed. It is like a multiple choice question – when we fail , we are actually eliminating possible wrong answers leaving the correct one for choosing. Whether a glass is half empty or half filled with water – it is the way we look at it. According to our Prime Minister the glass is half filled with water and half filled with air. It is not empty anywhere. This is another positive way to look at our circumstances. Under adverse conditions some people break down while some break records. The ball that hits the ground hardest, attains the maximum height after bouncing back. Similarly, when we fail, what is important is how high we bounce back. Our attitude, values and vision form the blue print of our success. Vision is the ability to see the invisible.

If we can see the invisible, we can achieve the impossible. It is our positive action combined with positive thinking that results in success.
